Tierra Lenca

This Honduras from Erandique, Lempira is produced by the Tierra Lenca Women's Coffee Group. This organization committed to preserving the indigenous Lenca culture while driving better economic and social outcomes for smallholder farmers in their communities. Women in the Tierra Lenca Women's Coffee Group are supported in their endeavors to lead their farms and produce excellent coffee through education on agricultural best practices and consistent access to fair compensation for their coffee. 

We have purchased this coffee for several seasons and look forward to its arrival each year. This is a composed, sweet cup with clover honey and graham cracker notes. It is well suited to many different brewing styles and is a good choice for those with more traditional tastes in coffee, while being light and fluid enough to please those interested in more modern expressions.
